The retro design is alot better then BMW's new designs, The new 7 and E60 5 series plus the 6 series look like pontiacs that have been humped with Toyota's.
I have give ford credit

no way. I kept up with a Mustang GT in my GS-R...and the RSX-S is significantly faster.

I don't know, I just don't like it. I think they tried to throw too many peppers into the gumbo; they tried to keep the classic look AND go retro. Maybe it'll look better in person.

I think it looks good. Anyone know what the price is s'posed to be? Looks expensive as is, like $30k + but they always get watered down for production to keep costs down, to make it practical or legal.

i thought i heard like 25 or less. one thing you dont have to pay for is shipping, so domestics are cheaper than comparably priced foreigns

1999-2004 Mustang GT
Current model Mustang GTs can run mid to high 13s bone stock and can see 12s with minor bolt-ons and a good driver--not bad for a $24,000 car. My 2001 GT convertible ran 14.3 @ 98 with only a shorter shifter and a K&N filter on my third run down the track. Coupes are obviously lighter and therefore quicker.

We top out at 145, so either you drive too fast on the roads and you're an idiot, or the Mustang owner made a smart move and backed off an RSX Type-S before it got too dangerous. The RSX Type-S is no match for a GT in straight-line acceleration.

Someone on page one posted that the current body-style Mustangs look "pussy", yet he or she drove a 4-door Civic--a stereotypical girls' car with extremely feminine bodylines--not to mention that fact that it'd get utterly embarrased by the Mustang anywhere they ran--street or strip.

:werd: Much better then the last style. I think the recent style looks kinda cheap. (No offense to those who have it... )
