1999-2004 Mustang GT
Current model Mustang GTs can run mid to high 13s bone stock and can see 12s with minor bolt-ons and a good driver--not bad for a $24,000 car. My 2001 GT convertible ran 14.3 @ 98 with only a shorter shifter and a K&N filter on my third run down the track. Coupes are obviously lighter and therefore quicker.
We top out at 145, so either you drive too fast on the roads and you're an idiot, or the Mustang owner made a smart move and backed off an RSX Type-S before it got too dangerous. The RSX Type-S is no match for a GT in straight-line acceleration.
Someone on page one posted that the current body-style Mustangs look "pussy", yet he or she drove a 4-door Civic--a stereotypical girls' car with extremely feminine bodylines--not to mention that fact that it'd get utterly embarrased by the Mustang anywhere they ran--street or strip.
