Duff Man:

XSrcing: As I told my buddy, I rather a car that's fast when it's working 100% then a car that slow all the time.

Me personally I'd pick the FC but I'm not a huge fan of drag racing. All turbo RX-7's need lots of TLC, but I guess the FC is less finicky than the FD (and that's out of your price range anyway).

DSM's and Mustangs are better starting points for running the 1/4 and they don't run as much risk of blowing up.

Dood, you'll get ideas, but in the end no one can tell you what to buy. You have to decide for yourself. I've been asking everyone what I should get, and everyone tells me what they want.

My price range is a tad higher since I'm willing to finance, and it's American money :fawk:

With that price range, and those cars. I'd choose the FC. not as common as a 5.0, but more than a TSi. Just be ready to keep it up more than your current car. I'd been considering the FC myself, but it's tough to find a TurboII model with decent mileage, not salvaged, and not too modded.

I'm thinking about just getting a 7th gen Civic EX coupe, and cruisin' wit dat. People who drive Accords around here are usually a buncha ghetto punks who think they're cooler than they are... :madfawk: Blegh... decisions suck.

I'm not really a 1/4 mile guy. It's cool and all to knock off 11s or even less in a car. I'm more into handling and the twistys actually getting more into drifting thanks to my buddy with the 240SX.

However I feel I could make a Mustang handle and even drift with the right suspension set up. The DSM....well AWD and Turbo what more could you want. The FC, well....rotory engines kick ass and respond 10x better to mods then pistion engines.
