yea if you take a screwdriver to the sides of the deck.. there releases that will let the CD player slide out.. when its out then you should be able to see how to get the frame out.

that doesn't look that bad to be totaled.. what happened?? sorry man

When I bought a pioneer, it came with 2 metal inserts that went on each side of the deck. When you slide them in on each side of the deck, it depresses the tabs that hold the deck in the cage and allow you to just pull the deck out. My deck came with them. Maybe one of your friends has a set.

well im leaving in a few, and i dont have those metal inserts, hopefully a flathead will fit?

Doubt it....the inserts were bent with certain angles to depress the tabs and not damage the deck or cage. Just smashe the hell out of the plastic and tear it out.

sorry fuji couldnt pull the wheels, but thanks everyone for the help on getting the deck out, it required some pulling and breaking of a few things but not the cd player itself
