My friend has a 01 Eclipse GT...I slapped him for saying "I want to get altezzas, those are hot!" Seriously, I don't get why people buy cars that are ricers just for being there(Eclipse, Tiburon, Cougar)...they look pretty nice, but most of them are slow.

why such hate for eclipses
is there a specific generation
my friends cousin gave me a ride in his GS-T and it was pretty dam quick
i know people say it's a "girly" car
some kid from my town has a 98 white one done up nice
it's got a FI cf hood, Z3 fenders, 17 Konig tantrums, Sparco seats, coil overs(no appearance of negative camber) and i think a Greddy evo exhaust

I hate the Eclipse too....any generation and any model.....doesn't mean I hate the owner but I do hate the car.
