Default Anyone familar with Microsoft Excel?

I have 2 excel docs..... one has a list of about 130 with names + addresses.... and the other has a list of about 170 names, no other info....

I need to merge these 2 lists of names(many names are on both, but about 40 names are on the bigger list, and not on the shorter list.

Is there a way to merge these 2 lists so i have a long list of names, no double names, and keep the addresses with the correct names, then have about 40 names that have no info, but keep everything in order? Get it?

For example:

first list:

Jon D 382290 Stoney Dr.
Sean K 09890832 Brey dr.
John J 380938 Blue dr.
Kay K 390920 Fake dr.
____________

2nd list:

Jon f
Key J
David L
Kan D.

__________

I want to merge the list with no addresses with the address list, and keep the correct addresses with the right names, in alphebetical order.

thanks
Sean

I am pretty familiar with Excel and I dont believe there is any way to merge the two lists with identical names. You could copy and paste but the duplicate names will copy

when i copy and paste... the names go in, but the addresses dont shift with the orginal names... so i have a long list of names, but none of the addresses line up....

i dont mind deleting duplicate names... but how to i add the names + keep them with their own addresses?
