You may get similarly light weight, but you won't even get close to the quality of construction or the strength.

yes, but using a cheap ass rim in autoX will definently fuck you over. if we are talking the 1320, then yes I agree with you.

How's it gonna be a problem? As long as it holds the tire on and doesn't break then it's all good.

Ya ya, there was the little incident of 17" Rotas on WRX's breaking.

There's plenty of cheap/light rims out there that aren't knockoffs anyway. Whatever.

i just learned that those volk gt-p's are mulit-piece rims.... i never heard about multi-piece rims.... what is the significance of this?
more rigid and enhances performance?

yes those are real mugen rnr's. even forged rims can break if you jump a curb.
