Get a pencil with a CLEAN rubber eraser, the pink kind not colored funny stuff.

Take out the ram and use the eraser to clean the contacts. Just rub it on them for a few mins. Just to make sure the contacts are getting the contact they need. Having one ram stick with just one pin not connecting can cause headaches like never before.

Hell, while your in there... clean off the contacts of all the other cars too, vid, nic, sound etc...

 

Have you flashed the bios? If not go to the manufactures website, and make a flash boot disk. It will upgrade the firmware in the bios.
