I am running Firefox on a Macbook Pro. Recently I tried loading my Tumblr page via a Twitter link and it wouldn't load. I thought that Tumblr may be down, but it wasn't.

I tried my direct domain for the Tumblr site and it loaded (moderncliche.com).

It has been three days and I still can't get Tumblr to load and a couple other sites. I've tried to clear my cache and everything in my history. But still nothing.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What error are you getting when you try to load the page? Server not found?

 

Tumblr is just a blogging site. I use it to blog iPhone pictures.

And yes, it just loads and loads and then gives me this:
The connection has timed out: The server at www.tumblr.com is taking too long to respond.

 

do you still have safari installed on it?

Try it from there and see if it works.

it's either a corrupt link, or a virus.

Send an error report, and i have no clue what to tell you to run on a mac to fix a virus if that is the problem.

 

I didn't know MACs could get viruses, and how do you get around a corrupt link.

Like I said, Moderncliche.com IS tumblr.

Top link doesn't work.
Bottom link works like a charm.
