pre-ordering shouldn't have any impact on price. It should guarantee a copy on release day. Now, if you weren't given a copy on release day, then that shit should be free.

You could have pre-ordered GT5 as early as 2008, right when the prologue was sent out.

You can thank the jailbreak scene for this delay. GT5 will utilize new security measures to force firmware updates to play. I'm guessing it'll demand the 3.50fw for 3D playback.

 

It's just that people thought they knew the release date when they made their pre-order. I only pre-ordered it last month so I'm not too bent out of shape about it. But a lot can change in a couple of years, can you cancel a pre-order?

I don't plan on canceling it, just didn't know if it was an option. I'm sure some of the people that pre-ordered it in 08 don't even have a working PS3 anymore.
