my friend has another quote by him that says "there's no interesting people in heaven"
Hrmm...there is a lot of misinformation being tossed around here.
Nope!
Taken from here first sentence
If you want to read it word for word as the truth...sure. If you read it for what it is and in the intentions of the original writers...then it is not misleading at all. (Another Thread, Another time)
There are Millions of suns in the universe...they are called stars. Stars are born and die over millions of years. This link is for you!
I think my man here has hit the nail on the head...scary when we agree!
God created the big bang theory.
The Big Bang Theory is the dominant scientific theory about the origin of the universe.
The bible is too misleading.
I beleive that the big bang was just the reaction when the sun was being made and that the sun gave off enough heat and light to make life on earth possible
I dont think there's a way we can ever really know, unless of course there IS an afterlife and someone spills the beans.
To me, it is beyond human understand as to how the world as we know it started. We cannot begin to fathom using our rationale as to how it came out.
Our reasoning points to Big Bang, evolution, astrophysics, etc.
Our faith points to God, but many people reject it because it seems like an unreasonable excuse.
I have debated this issue and have concluded there are some things that limit the potential of human minds. We cannot understand everything, not matter how directly it is fed to us.
Just like we cant teach a squirrel why fire is hot. For all we know, the squirrel probably has all these theories to explain this phenomenon, while humans have the higher knowledge capacity to explain it. We think we have the potential to know everything, but we most likely don't. It is beyond us.
