We need another Android thread :o
I just picked up my Evo and am ready to download stuff to it
What are some must have apps? (Let's post a name and a description
)
Also, anyone have a quick how-to or what-is rooting for this phone?
And finally, how do I tether with this thing :uhhok:

there is no lag fix needed on the evo
and don't use task killers
the way the android OS works is completely different from how you would normally run a PC on windows. Just because apps are "running" doesnt mean they are a battery drain nor a resource hog.
You can google the topic and see many blogs and articles on why not to use one. but basically let me put it this way . . . programs run better and battery lasts LONGER if you DONT use a task killer
