ohh i just use the rubber one they sell at sprint for like 14 bucks? its an htc branded one . . . works great and the nice thing is its just the right thickness it keeps the camera from touching the surface its sitting on preventing scratching

Incredible root
From what i can tell and watching videos - the root process for the EVO is pretty similar to the Incredible.
Also once rooted - this has been pretty helpful. Bloatware this helps you disable dumb things like cityID, amazonmp3, footprints, etc...
