Don't mess with this copper!
I'm not discounting her courage you dumbass, I'm merely saying that for her two have two amazingly impossible shots and then 3 errant ones does not qualify the statement that she's an excellent marksman. Of course she was under stress and as such if she could pull of shots of that sort then there's no reason why the other 3 should have complete misses. Not to mention the article says she had a revolver of her own . . . most BUG revolvers are small j-frames. not exactly a gun known for superior pinpoint accuracy o:
she's got some kahonas on her but i say lucky shots not expert marksmanship.
I mean think about it . . . someone fires a 44 mag past your face . . . whats your first reaction? shoot his finger? yea ok . . . you go for center mass like training taught you. I'm merely stating that the odds of this being due to her marksmanship level is highly unlikely.

It would be nice if law enforcement officers were given proper firearms training. Even under stress, a well trained officer should be able to get better than two random hits. I'm not well trained by any means so I probably wouldn't have done much better, but taking out bad guys while protecting innocent civilians isn't my job. If it's your job to do so, you ought to be getting the best training available. Send these people to Front Sight or something. I suppose you could also send them to Blackwater/Xe, but then many innocent civilians would die in the process of taking out the bad guys.
I guarantee that's probably the only time she's ever fired her gun except for POST training. A very small percentage of cops actually shoot their guns for anything other than required strings of fire. It's outright sad that she only hit him one time.
She probably closed her eyes, pointed the gun in his general direction and jerked the trigger until it stopped going bang.

h:the lady works in the damn crime lab . . . odds are she fires her gun once a month if lucky

how do you think you'd pit in that situation?
