but in addition to that you will also need a wireless access point if you already have a wires router, or if not a wireless router.

I don't know if it's a pc card. Maybe, I'll go to best buy tomorrow and see if they can help me. I have a wireless access point already are you talking about like a dsl or cable connection I have to my house? If so I do have one if I think I know what your talking about. Pics would help.

do you need to plug a wire in to get on the internet at home...if you do, you DO NOT have a wireless connection in your house.

where are you planning to use the wireless internet on the laptop?
