what motorcycle to get???
sup people,
This will be my first bike. I would like to get a used bike, but I can't afford to pay all at once. So Im opting to get a new bike and financing it.
Should I get the Yamaha R6, Honda 600RR, or Suzuki Gsx-R. They will all be 600cc. I most likely will not go for the Honda since it costs a lot more than the other two cause its a new model. What are the pros n cons of these bikes?
Do you guys think this is a wise decision to get a new bike? My friends that have bikes say that i should just get a new one. And if i want to..just sell it off after a year or so. I will be using this primarily for local streets and commute to work.
thx...

you ever ride before???,...if its your first bike i would just get something cheap and ride that out for awhile,..this is what i did,..when you get comfortable then get a better bike,..nothing would suck more then fawking up your brand new bike,..dropping or wrecking an older bike would not be so bad,...im waiting to see if i can get a busa next year
if you never rode a bike before PLEASE save us rest of the bikers some trouble and worry, and DO NOT get the r6/rr/gixxer
these are RACE bikes
you are asking for a death wish
like hte other guy said get a cheap one, if you CANNOT, and HAVE to buy a new one, buy a suzuki sv650, very good bike, keep it for 2 years, learn to ride and hone your skillz, then move up the ladder
you can always get cool/fast bikes later in life
but you only get to live life once
please do the smart thing, if you dont beleive me, PM me i will send you some pics of squids
btw i am the bay area too..and have friends in davis

exactly.
Get something used, and slow to get yourself used to two wheels. Then, if you really like bikes, get something more performance oriented. Don't start out with a GSX-R. You'd kill yourself.
I was thinkin of gettin me a bike sometime or another. So I'll ask. What should I go with for a beginner that looks pretty and I can't kill myself as easily on? Specifically. I know nothing of models and whatnot, so all that stuff means little to me. just gimme a make/model, and then wish me luck
