Chanc, remember that on a CRT the size is total glass, which means that a 19" monitor has approximately a 17.5" viewable space.
A LCD monitor is rated by the size of the display. A 20" CRT has a larger viewable area than a 21" monitor.

Werd. my 21" viewsonic CRT is just barely larger than my 19" LCD.
but it has the weight advantage. It's nearly 100lbs

nevermind it's 52lb :doh: but the LCD is only ~15lbs so there
