Hard drive is fine. Ran a full scan on it the other night.
There are a bunch of java errors still being reported. I think the actual games files are corrupted. May have to start a new world.

 

I just laid a bunch of stuff in your house where you took those screenshots and it's saving fine for me. Get on right now if you can.

 

Okay, that was weird as shit. I thought my basement was haunted. I kept getting attacked by something but nothing was there. Kept running from it but it was following me. I finally went up a dozen blocks and saw that there were a bunch of slimes stuck in my ceiling that kept hitting me.

I knew I wasn't crazy!

 

On a different computer,
I made changes to an area, saved, and closed down the window.
I relaunched Minecraft and none of my changes were saved.

this removes the theory that there's something wrong on my computer via software or hardware


I do see your changes in there though Josh.

removes the theory that the HDD is bad (and the fact that your disk check is clean)



Possible issues:
- my user profile went bad
- the world file is corrupt, since Josh is hosting it, he's not hitting the same problems
- 1.9 pre 3 bugs


The only things I did different in my area:

- made an enchanting table
- played a bunch of records


I remember playing with Mike and Ed on Saturday. I kept asking them, "is the game slow for you guys?". Frame rates were choppy. Picking up blocks had lag on it. I was building right on top of an area that reverted too. Also, it wouldn't stop raining, maybe 2 hours straight of rain.

That's so weird. It shouldn't matter that I'm the host since I connect the same way anyone else does.
I don't understand why that is happening to you. I made a mess in there and everything saved just fine. So weird.

What do you guys suggest? Start anew again?

 

It's fucking strange man. I'm going to play on another Minecraft server.

The real 1.9 update will contain a ton of new things, including heavy changes to Nether, Strongholds (w. bosses), and Villages.

 

Does this happen anywhere you make changes? Maybe do a force update, then copy over the 1.9.3 client file again. :dunno:

 

Seems like there is a simple fix for this.
