Not sure where you were. My original castle is the one that has a wooden front area, with a medium sized tower behind it. The tower has a glass roof and goes all the way down to the bottom, but there's stairs and a ladder to go back up.
maybe you were in Goats place?

Wow I joined yesterday. You guys have some crazy stuff! I want to build, and I was about to, but all of a sudden I got booted and the game destroyed my internet for 3 hours .

 

Not the games fault. lol

If you get booted often, turn down your view distance for multiplayer. Changing it to normal fixed it for me. I never get booted now.

 

join the server Jesse and just start building. I think it's more fun to build and see what everyone else has built right now. buy the time I get bored they'll probably have monsters working. plus there are supplies readily available in the m/p server.
