Default Buying New Car, Need Opinion

OK, so i crashed my old GSR and boutght a Mustang GT out of nostalgia, sick of the rattling american piece of shit, I don't know how people stand the wierd noises that come from the interior pieces of american cars. So i have a few cars in mind, i really want a convertible, tell me your choice and why.

2000 ITR Black: In my range but no cruise (i drive 30-40 thousand miles a year. And no moon roof.

2000-2001 GSR: Has moonroof and cruise, not as loud as the ITR. Owned one before and loved it but now scared it will be way too slow in comparison to my Mustang.

1998-2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST Spyder Convertible: Fast as hell, can upgrade the turbo, and a convertible! I don't know how reliable they are.

2001 Volkwagen GTI VR6: Quite simply the smoothest, most torqued out ride in the mix, my dad has a 2002 that runs cirlcles around my mustang GT.

2003 Civic SI: Cool interior, but looks wierd.

2003 Ford Focus SVT: Black on black coolness, comes w a sub too, a little pricey, and american

Tell me what you think, i am leaning toward the eclipse convertible unless someone tells me it will blow up in my face.

I just got the 2003 Impreza 2.5 RS. I'm on loooooooove!! Handles great, looks tight as hell, it's waaaaaaay faster than my civic....TORQUE!!!! The awd is awesome. The interior is comfy as hell and looks tight too. $17,500 brand new with a spoiler, splash guards, and tweeters. Just picked it up yesterday.

I already owned a 1965 Buick Electra 225 (duece and a quarter) and did not enjoy getting 7 miles to the gallon running premium.

It definitely dosn't have the top end the WRX does. However, turbo lag is non-existant because it's all motor. It's waaay faster than my civic and has all the power I need for real world driving. The interior's look identical...save the Momo steering wheel and the 6 disc changer. Exterior is identical. The RS dosn't have a hood scoop because it dosn't have an intercooler and it only has a single exaust. I guess the suspension is a touch softer too, but I'm no expert and the suspension on the RS sticks me to the road and then some. I was haulin ass around corners this morning in the rain. The AWD is awesome. The WRX would smoke this car. Don't get me wrong. But the RS has everything I need and keeps a smile on my face. It was cheaper too...price AND insurance. The RS can also be turboed when the warranty expires. It has tons of aftermarket potential and can easily be upgraded to WRX status and better.

I got the sedan. It's silver. This car was a great value. It would lay waste to a new Civic Si that costs about the same. It's way more of a car. 165 horse and 166lbs/ft. The torque makes all the difference.

I'll go to the dealer after i get out of work and check it out, i think i need a little more power however, cause right now i am 215HP, and 285 Torque, and that pulls hard, espescially with 17's
