Did you reset the window? What were you trying to do with it?

And looks great Robert!

i'm not trying to do anything with it. all our windows are original, single pane, wood, leaky and painted too many times. we're getting them all replaced.

finished the grouting. i still need to clean it off some. i rushed way too much when i was doing it and left way too much on the tiles which is now a pain to get off. This was my first time doing any kind of tile work, and i definitely learned a lot. i have some spacing issues, and some leveling issues, but overall it came out nice. we're very happy with it.

not a huge update today, but still important. we got a new kitchen door.

here's the old door (inside):

outside. the bottom glass broke a month or so ago:

new hotness installed today:

my favorite part is that now we can have a door mat on the inside. the door used to drag on the ground moving the mat. not anymore. still need to paint it all. and it's fiberglass so it won't dent when my dumb dogs jump on it.

Did you install it yourself?

I just installed a new screen door the other day, and that was a major pain in teh ass considering this place was built in 1904 and the building is sagging and warping all over the place h:
