Welp, that sucked.

After failing emissions twice last week in the Land Cruiser, I spent a little time under the hood over the weekend because I realized about 1/4 of the vacuum lines were misplaced, according to the vacuum diagram in the Chilton's. Went back to re-test and not only did it fail again, but they charged me for the re-test. When I failed the first time they told me I had 10 days to retest for free, but nobody ever mentioned that I only get one re-test. I had to run to the nearest gas station in order to take out $40 to get my keys back. So anyway, apparently plumbing up the EGR and putting everything back to factory specs makes your nitrogen oxides go up. Lame, but whatever.

So I was driving home and as I was getting off the highway I felt the truck cut out for a moment. Went WTF but kept driving. A few seconds later it died all together on the highway off-ramp. It would start up, and run like shit for a second or two before dying again. Thankfully, I was close enough that I could walk home and call a tow truck. So here I am, $120 later with a busted truck and my tags expire tomorrow.

FML.

My car need a wheel bearing = 300$
Shocks = 600$
struts = didn't even check yet
and all the installation cost to that.

fucking have to drop like 1500$ on my car in the next week. My wheel bearing just started failing like 3 weeks ago and now i feel like the wheel is just going to fall off.
