Alright my boss came up to me after work today and was like "Hows school doing?" and I was like "Alright" then she brings up "Well when I had the ad in the paper for this job opening, it wasnt clear that you would be working 6 days a week" So she basically asked me if I needed time off, and I didnt say no, but I Just said I was doin alright in school. Anyway, well now im kickin myself cause having another day off would be nice, instead of just thursdays... Would it make me sound bad if I said somethin like "You know, I wont mind if you give me some more time off" or somethin along those lines? I just started this job like 2 months ago.. And I work mon, tues, wed, fri 1:30 - 5pm, Sat 9am - 4pm, Sun 1pm-4pm..
Advice pwease?

 

tell em one of your professors or whatever just sprang a whole lot of extra work on you and the stress is gettin to ya or whatever. then be like "i could really use another day off per week" or some shit like that.

 

I wouldn't trip on it too much bro, and no need to make up any story or anything. It sounds to me like they are trying to cutback a little bit so just talk to her about it again. Tell her you were thinking about it and that you could benefit from another day off, but let her know too that if they still need you to work 6 days a week, it wouldn't be a problem. I'd put my money on you getting another day off:thumbup:
