dvd x copy help

Default dvd x copy help

I just installed dvdx copy. i can get it to make the burn image on my HD, but it wont recognize my dvdr drive when it comes to the "ready to burn" screen. the tab that is supposed to have my dvd drive doesnt show any drives any ideas??

uninstall DVD-X-COPY, download DVDdecrypter, as well as any other program that www.dvdrhelp.com advises you to download. that site will answer all your questions.

Wrong. DVDXCOPY does not require the decrypter. You just need to run the "configure DVDXCOPY" and after that, it will recognize your DVD drive.

i never said that dvdxcopy needs the decrypter. i simply said that that the dvdxcopy program in general bites ass and he should uninstall it.

i've used the how-to sections on www.dvdrhelp.com and have yet to have a problem burning dvd's or having them not work in any DVD player. specifically http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/usergu...41024.php#dvd5

thanx for the link. im trying this dvddcrtipter as we speak. the software interface seems superior to dvdxcopy:thumbup:

i've been meaning to go thru the dvdrhelp.com how-to sections for a while. i gotta look into converting dvd to avi, dvd to vcd and avi to vcd. looks like i got something to do for today

its kinda slow, but maybe its just me. i want to get 1 dvd burned properly before i go to bed. i'm thinking of trashing my cd-rom drive and getting a higher speed dvd rom drive, like 6x or whatever is fastest. my dvdrw drive reads sloooooooowww

aw fawk. its a coaster i'm going to try again today. maybe i didnt use a good blank dvd i used a cheap compusa dvd-r

anyways, i have a sony vaio with the click to dvd setup. i'm not sure of the specs with the drive

what brand of blanks would you reccomend? is verbatim in the dvd blank business?

oh, and actually, the dvdr disc works in a ps2, but it doesnt work in the damned drive that i burned it in looks like i got alot more reading to do on that dvdrhelp.com
