If its only a couple of spots then I would simply pull them. You can also pick up some WeedBGon (w/Crabgrass killer) and apply it directly to the crabgrass. Then pick up some Scotts Step 1 Crabgrass Preventer to be applied beginning in February.

february? there will be 10 inches of snow on the ground h:

i think i'll try to pull them and i might get some weed stuff if that doesn't work. i'm not against used chemicals or anything like that. i'm actually thinking about trugreen.

i have some weed killer now, but it'll kill anything it touches, so i can't use it on the lawn / near the bushes.

i got some round up (that's what i ahd before) for all the weeds at the front of my driveway and in between some cracks in my driveway.

also got some weedbgone with the crabgrass shit, i tested it on a couple weeds in the back yard to see what it would do to my grass, just in case.

i think i used the weed b gone last time, the one that you hook right up to the hose. it took care of the weed issue but browned the grass a little. there was a noticeable difference on the grass that had it applied and the grass that didnt. the grass didnt die but it was like on the IR for a little bit :hs:

i think i might just wait until right before winter to spray them if it does fuck up the yard at all. the old man next door doesn't know what he's going to be up against. i'm 100% ocd when it comes to shit like this.

then after winter do everything i can to prepare the lawn.

i also weeded along the left side of the house (from the far bush, around the corner was all weeds, couldn't even see mulch).

broke two shitty gardening tools digging out one of those round black plastic dividers to hold mulch in and cut my hand after the handle ripped off.

got the divider thing even with the ground again. moved the loose mulch, dug up all the dirt, mixed it around and together (some was real dry). spread it back out and put whatever was left of the mulch back over it.

i figure it's better to weed it all now, couple more times before winter and leave whatever mulch is left for the rest of the summer / fall and then replace everything in the spring right?
