Free wifi tethering (making it a hotspot to connect wireless devices to using the 3G service), removal of most ads, ability to freeze/uninstall bloatware, overclocking the CPU (can't do it right now with froyo 2.2), and when available we can flash custom roms, and make the phone our own

you can't overclock your droid with froyo: :eh:

as far as I know every G1 froyo rom allows you to overclock...some even have overclocking built in.

Another couple things I noticed from the update.

1. The active tasks screen is different (press and hold 'home')
2. New phone password options

Anyone else notice anything?

Not yet no. Plus Motorola has a NASTY bootloader lock, so we can't get into it and get better kernals for advanced overclocking.
