That's because when there's a new member, certain individuals here (or used to be here) would flame the sht outta them and tell the "noobs" to leave.

True, the mass hazing that used to happen here was pretty bad. I remember when I knew near nothing and it was a painful experience posting. At least back then everyone was having enough fun for me to stick around, even if we all knew telling someone to search was useless (I mean, has anyone really gotten good results with this search function?)

Now it seems that the personality is gone from this site. No one pays attention to the real topics, we're resting on our laurels and there's nothing new to actually see here.

IMHO most of the best areas (AN&R, Accord, Integra and Civic) forums have completely lost their flavor. The basement is a far cry from even when I was a noob.. and back then y'all used to talk about the good 'ole OG days.

 

In addition, I think the active members here are members who have been here for years. People grow, people change. I just have other things that occupy my time first now. I am sure it is the same for other people. I just check in to see what people are up to, who has the bigger e-penis, how has the most expensive house or car, who is getting laid and who has the padded retirement account.
