Hey bitches.
I stopped coming to HAN for several reasons:
(1) Everything got too political here. It seemed like every post was either about how the world has gone to shit, how Obama has fucked us over, how we're getting our guns and civil liberties taken away from us, etc. It made me hate and resent several members which I ordinarily don't do.
(2) It started becoming a huge time waster at work. My productivity at work has improved noticably since I stopped posting.
(3) I noticed it started substituting for my social life... you know, the people that actually exist in my real day-to-day life.
(4) It got too predictable and ridiculous. Everyone's personas started to seem like a charicature of themselves. Not saying people are liars or deceiptful here, but some of the things people said they did in their real life just seemed impossible to believe. I came here to shoot the shit and enjoy quirky stuff, not see who's e-penis is bigger and have everything be a competition about who's house cost more, who has the more expensive car, who banged the most chicks (craig), or who's 401k is biggest.
So there you have it. I'm still single, finished my first year of grad school, and still have the same job. Not much new with me.
