I broke up with my gf almost a month ago after being together for 2.5 years. We'd had no contact at all until yesterday and during this time, i met a girl whom im pretty interested in and she is probably interested in me as well.
So i talked to my ex and found out that she still loves me and does not want to move on. being a soft heart person i am, when i heard that she still has feelings for me, i really don't know what i should do or say. She is a good girl, sweet and all but not the type that i will have a future with. if i get to make a choice between the two, which girl should i choose? one is someone i was with for 2.5 years and we were just like family to each other. the other one is a fresh new girl and there will be a lot for me to find out about her. what should i do? serious answers only please

 

What's up yo? Well obviously you will need to work out whatever issues you had when you broke up. Communication is key and since you were with each other for a long time it won't take long to get back to where you two were when you left off. Good luck though. :thumbup:

 

just gotta ask yourself what you want. I loved my ex, decided to do my own thing, which was hard at first, but I'm a lot happier now. I just recently started talking to her again after a year and a half, so we're cool now. And while some feelings did come back when I met up with her, they passed and I know that it's just the past. I'm actually starting something with someone new, that has promise. Personally, I say give the new girl a chance, you two broke up for a reason, it's up to you though.

 

ya we broke up for reasons, and we both know well that the problems will still be there no matter how much we love each other. I thought i had moved on already until yesterday. when i talked to her, the memories seemed come back on my mind all a sudden you know.
I told both of them i just want to be single for now and they do respect my decision, but i know sooner or later i will have to face this problem and make a tough decision.

 

did i say my ex invited her out yesterday because they were friends and my ex saw me driving with her in my car on last friday? my ex said if not because she was with her mom, she would have come out her car and smash my window. i don't know if she was for real or not, but i do know she has some temper

 

yeah, it's not easy.. but you just gotta take some time for yourself, find out what makes you happy, then go from there. I thought I wanted to get back with my ex when we both broke up, but knew it wasn't what I needed in my life. I wasn't happy, neither was she. So give it some time, do your own thing, then if the feelings are still there...
