I was speaking to DelSolGirl. I was wondering the same thing's you. I should also add that I don not condone hunting for sport. If you're gonna kill something don't just kill it for it's antlers and pelt. Use all of the usable parts.

I completely agree. I f***ing HATE people who kill deer for the head/antlers and leave the carcass to rot.

Perhaps I wasn't totally clear earlier - if you're hunting for survival (self-defense/avoiding starvation/feeding your family), fine. But don't abuse the privilege of being higher up on the food chain.

FTR, I do eat meat (not a lot). I used to be a vegetarian, but I was too anemic to keep it up.

Ah glad to see you cleared that up. I think you were gonna get a flamethrower in your direction by quite a few of us. Also since he was in Alaska I would imagine he is using everything from the animals he shoots.

Incidentally, in the article this is the only part that they didn't really debunk. "The bear had killed a couple of other people." I wonder if this part was true as well? If so, How did they figure that out?
