YAY! :wiggle: :wiggle: It's been a month since I ordered my AEM cold air intake and I got it on friday ( BTW DON'T ever use Airborne Express they suck royally..hence why it took 2 wks to get from Oregon to so Cal :madfawk: )...well today I got it installed!! YAY!!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo happy I luv it! It took 4 hrs to put it in, my friend and I did it. When Acura made the RSX they sure did a damn good job at making it a b!tch to do anything under the hood..grrrr but oh well..it's done now...and looks pretty.

Don't you have to change out the windshield washer reservoir or something? I know DAC comes with a replacement...

 

You have to relocate the windshield washer resevoir from the driver's side over to the passenger side. that's the biggest pain in the @$$ of the whole installation. AEM give you a mounting bracket to mount it on the passenger side, and all the hoses & wiring to re-wire the windshield wipers to the fluid etc. You have to drill a new hole in the resevoir and they give you a plug to put in the old hole of it. Probably 2 1/2 hrs was spent relocating that damn resevoir. We tucked all the hosed and wires into the bumper though so that took a few extra minutes, because the instructions just have you tie-wrapping the hoses to the underside of the car, and I didn't want them exposed so we hid them.

I would take pics if I could..but you wouldn't really be able to see the intake. The way the stuff is under the hood, you can hardly see it. It's blue too. hehe
