Default Windows 7 - student discount: is this legit?

http://dealspl.us/product/windows-7-...udent-discount

is it? if so, is it worth it?

*edit: ok, so the better question is, is this a good deal? i'm currently on XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop. is upgrading to Windows 7 something that would be more awesome?

they also have the Microsoft Professional 2010 for $80. i might get on that, too.

haven't been keeping up w/ Microsoft's products so i have no idea whether these are worth upgrading to

Windows 7 smokes Vista in performance. It also makes machines running XP, faster.

The ability to organize and get to what you need is A+ ... highly, highly usable interface.

Apple had to pull their OSX vs Windows ads (featuring Justin Long) because Windows 7 is absolutely, 100%, legit.

You won't regret it ... is the Windows 7 a fresh install version or an upgrade?
