For my hypothetical ITR

I'm looking for ~220whp.

Starting with a stock ITR.

Toda Racing Spec B cam
Billet VTEC

Toda Racing Valve Spring
set for Spec B cams

Toda Racing Adjustable Cam Pulleys

Toda Racing High Power Timing Belt

DC Sports 4-1 Header

RS*R (whatever fits the ITR).

and some sort of electronic control device like A'PEX Super AFC.

I looked into Hondata S200 but since I'll need a new ECU, etc. I'm going to get it in the future, with the 2.0L upgrade to increase torque.


Total parts cost is ~3000.

Any thing else? I'd like to keep the stock air box. I don't want to add any additional "noise." I would like to keep it stock looking and sounding.

 

skunk2 intake manifold is good. and frankly, i think your going to end up junking the air box, but to each his own. :thumbup:

Yeah I will get rid of the stock airbox eventually. But I want to keep the total parts cost around $3K.

Yup. Try as you might, the stock airbox is going. Comptech if you're concerned about the noise factor. Just keep the stock arm like I've got right now. (Hopefully only for the rest of this week).

Also, if you want 220whp, think about JUN Stage 3s or the TODA VTEC killer cams.

 

I was reading about the VTEC killer cams on todas site. Looksed like great race cams but not so good for street. Which means I'm in CA and they don't have CARB exemption.
