Yeah, they weren't bad, $430 shipped from Tirerack -- and ohhhh they're going to be sticky icky icky.

Definitely looking forward to it.
This weekend I'll do an oil change, fix the rear swaybar (the top bolts on the right-side mounting bracket backed out) and then break in the tires..

Next weekend or sometime like that, after it dries out a little more, i'll test these pieces out.

I'm not expecting to get more than 10k miles out of them. That's okay though, since, well; it's summer and I have a bike too.

I just had a set of the Yokohama AVS ES100's, yes. I loved them as well. They were totally awesome, much better than the Kuhmo Ecsta 712's I had on it before.

Unfortunatly, about 1500-2000 miles of *hard* driving (back roads of Bay Area, California are just too tempting) toasted those tires in a little over 10k miles. That, and neglecting to rotate them did that, of course.

We'll see how these tires last, presumably less long; I'd imagine.
*shrug*.

:doh: man, they went out quick! oh well....yokos are notorious for sticky tires and short life

how long are these tires expected to last under "normal" conditions? i want more than 10k from them
