Unfortunatly, about 1500-2000 miles of *hard* driving (back roads of Bay Area, California are just too tempting) toasted those tires in a little over 10k miles. That, and neglecting to rotate them did that, of course.
We'll see how these tires last, presumably less long; I'd imagine.
*shrug*.
