Fuck rooting the phone for now. I just ordered mine through Wirefly for $179.99 - $50 Bing Cashback. Thinking of it as a MIR sor, $129.99 for the smartphone = :irock:

no thanks i'll pass, not being able to mod the smartphone as i see fit is a no go for me
they just came out with an easy root for the incredible, and according to the giz review the incredible is still the better option on verizon for phones right now.

HTC EVO is not worth it right now IMO. You pay an extra $10 for 4G service, but 4G service is not available in all areas so you're paying for shit you can't use yet.....just my $.02
