Just FYI.

 

Droid X is already hacked and rootable. I am staying away from rooting for now since I JUST got this thing and don't want to eff anything up.

 

I rooted my incredible a week ago, its not that hard to do. the first thing you do after you root it is to make a backup so if you do make a mistake you can restart in restore mode and its all good. and you can always un root so if you want to get an ota update and go back to stock.

 

Hitman...how do you find the battery life compared to the incredible?

 

way better imo
the incredible was lasting about 3/4 of the day
the x with almost the same use is about a day in a half

The only draw back i see so far with the droid x is the ringer/speaker volume.
it's fawking horrible.

 

What settings are you using and what is your screen set to?
