You should be able to install Swype on the HTC Incredible. Don't need a whole new phone just for that.

The Samsung Galaxy S for some reason is getting all renamed for the US. T-Mobile is going to call it the Samsung Vibrant, and AT&T is getting it with different exterior styling and calling it the Samsung Captivate, but AT&T's preview page still shows a Galaxy S logo on the back of the phone.

:werd:I've been rockin swype on my incredible for a little bit too. it took maybe 5-10 minutes to do. if you know how to use the internet and do a google search for swype, and if you go to their screen by screen install its a breeze to install.

sign up for the xda devolpers forum, then you will be able to download the file.
you will need astro file manager to install. so once you download the file, go into astro and do a search for flash, open up the file, install. once the install is done power off your phone and re-start and you've got flash.

I was set on the Incredible but now I am second guessing that choice in favor of the Evo...hmmm

 

im between both as well, and the hd2 but they are laggin on putting the android os on it. so right now top is the evo just because of the front face camera for facetime chats. i just did one with my friends gayphone4 and i was pretty impressed, yes I SAID I WAS IMPRESSED until i found out you can only do it while on wifi....ya anywho. evo right now is where its at.
