No foolin me and a friend were talking about taking my car once the engine work is complete and taking a lap around the US starting in Seattle.

Our route would be kinda like this.....

Start in Seattle, WA and go to LA, CA from there make our way to Florida (not sure where exactly yet) then off to Maine and then across the top back to Seattle.

So the question is do you think it would be possible to get sponsors for this and support along the way?

This is a serious trip we are considering on doing probably next summer and we are going to try and arrange meets along the way etc. The entire trip will be documented on the web through video footage along the way, text, still pictures, and sponsor appearences (shameless plugs).

I am supplying the car and my friend and I will be driving and documenting it, but how do we pitch it to get things like repairs, tires, sleeping arrangements...etc.?

Sounds like fun. I've been wanting to do that for awhile now, don't know if i can get the time off work though.

Well as for incentive the main thing is that it is advertising as well as product promotion. "Hey what tires are those and where did you get them? Do they hold up well?" "What site do you get info from?" etc.

So the payoff is actually cheap advertising in the end.

 

I think your best way from LA to Florida would be takeing the Main interstate which goes straight through Arizona and New mexico. Forgot the name. Then go diagnoly Right through albany, to dallas. Thats the best Way I know to get to Dallas. Im not to sure on the right side of the states but I have driven that back and forth many times and from dallas to mississppi. I think im going from Portland to LA and then to Dallas in the summer also. Put more miles on my F22 Beast. . Summer We are looking into getting the swap in . Hopefully we can. But That sounds fun. Bet you will have a blast! :thumbup:
