That's sounds like a blast. Pick me up in Atlanta. If I did it, I'd want to take my time, and take in the sights. As long as you do it in the summer, you could camp most days. Hell, a lot of HAN members would probably give you a free stay. Maybe you could approach manufacturers in supporting you, by doing a longevity/reliability "test" on their products. Tell them you'll advertise by placing logos on the car for the trip, and report back with the results. Tell them it's a study by HAN, maybe give some statistics on how many hits this site gets a day, etc..

h: That's the danger of a "test". Still, you could probably massage the system enough to get some sponsors. Try to find smaller companies who could benefit more from cheap advertising, or at least be more willing to spring on the oppurtunity of cheap advertising. You know, the people who can't afford to have thier name stamped on an F-1 car or in the middle of SCC.
