Highest murder ratio in CT... try more like top five in the nation. Actually I don't know where it stands now, but I think it was #1 for quite sometime.

i can think of 5 places that have worse murder ratios than bridgeport, and this is just off the top of my head. newark, NJ; east st. louis, IL; detroit, MI; los angeles, CA; miami, FL. i'm sure there are many more. i have actual numbers to back this up.

please refrain from spewing forth bullshit before knowing the actual facts.

edit => i think i should say st. louis, MO; i can't find figures on east st. louis, IL; but, as far as i know, it's up there.

 

Bridgeport is not in the top 5 in # of actual murders but there was a time a few years ago they were atleast in the top 10 for murders per capita. They may have even been in the top 5.
