Default New Englanders: Anyone ever race at Lime Rock Park?

My co-worker is ex-NASCAR and is always telling me to go checkout Lime Rock Park. I checked out the track www.limerock.com and it looks like they're doing an import thing in May.

Anyone ever been here, or better yet, raced there? It looks to be the only road course in my area.

i've had talks with friends about it a bunch of times, but never done it. we want to, though. i've played the track on a few racing sims.. looks like fun. there are a couple of turns to be wary of.

Well, I'm from CT, so I deal with it enough already. It's worth it to me, nowhere else to go

:werd: me to! Except a two hour drive to E-town.

*edit - and yes the people that go there from Mass. and NH, etc. are most likely to be Hill Billy's, but not the peeps from CT.

:eh: you should talk. stratford people = :ugh:

and, anyway, i never considered new england people to be rednecks. i think that term is getting thrown around way too easily.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

but I do agree the term red necks is misused... it focuses more on the south... and yankee/hill billy is more north.

Yea, I've got a few friends from Stratford. Everyone I've met through them is :ugh: and most seem to have something to prove.
