This is fucking sick. Why would someone tape this shit and get pleasure out of seeing a mouse ripped in two trying to survive? I dig the whole "this is nature" pov but in the wild the rats are not just fed to a turtle and they dont turn the spetacle in a gory shock craving vid.

That was pretty awesome and very interesting how they actually strike and kill their prey.

It's not cruel to film nature doing it's thing, National Geographic built an empire on doing exactly that in fact

I just realized how badly written my post was so I edited it for clarification.

In the wild the rat has a chance of survival. Also national geographic does not film the prey in a way so that you get attached to it and then fucking straight up feeds them and films them in the most gorriest way possible. Even the music supports the intention of shocking from the poster. NG has info, support and is informative. It's like comparing Michelangelo's David to porn.

Just for the record I'm not an animal lover... Don't have any pets and i hate rodents.

OK I can see what you are saying but in general a turtle in captivity has to eat and snapping turtles eat meat. The cheapest meat to get is feeder mice and rats.

I dunno I have owned lizards, turtles and rats and enjoyed them all so maybe I am just a bit calloused to it.

Dude the rats looks like they're having a good time. I don't see what the big deal is.

I didn't enjoy that at all. I agree with Tark.

If they're going to do that, why not do a big rat instead of helpless lil lab rodents? It's a freaking snapping turtle.
