I blame it all on AMD. :fawk:

When you say it's freezing do you mean blue screening or just stopping?

If it's just stopping your CPU could be overheating. Heat is a big issue with Athlons and if your CPU fan isn't running or you didn't use thermal grease you could be frying your processor.

That too. It's probably an OEM processor.

Athlons are NOT efficient devices. They should be rated in BTU per Mhz.

Thing just freezes... no BSOD...

I am thinking about the heat issue, but my temp levels are ok. I had the people I got the mobo and cpu from do some tests before they shipped it and they said it was ok.

Any simple way to figure out if its overheating? I know check the temp levels, but I think those might be deceiving. And I ain't touching the heatsink... h:

run it in bios and watch the temps over 10 mins or so.
