Default Another brake thread, help

Well, I made a serious mistake.
Working on my brakes tonight, nothing special, and I go to re-torque the caliper mounting bolts on the drivers side, and the bottom caliper bolt hole is stripped. It gets a little tight, then it just gets loose again. It's not the bolt, it's the actual caliper.

So here's where I need help: Do I need to replace my entire caliper? Or is it OK to drive without the bottom bolt tightened all the way?

Thanks.

Actually, I looked at the service manual, and I think I should just need the caliper bracket, right?

Yup, should just need the bracket I believe. I wouldn't drive it without it tightened down, though.

Ok. A bracket is a lot less then a caliper... So thats good news.
Thanks.

It's for a 98 Civic LX.

I've got another question. I'm in the process of removing the caliper from the bracket, I removed the 12mm bolt at the bottom of the caliper, and there is no bolt at the top. It looks like some type of pin or something. The caliper won't budge. I've worked on some 5th gens, and the calipers on those usually just came right off.
So what do I do to get the caliper off the bracket? Hammer it off?
