never seen that car the one they first had that was running 10's was built ova night. where they had a $125,000 built stroked sti engine, 6speed dogg box tranny and some other goodies. that car was one of the first WRX's here running low 10's the specs posted above were right at the time cuz it had like 700+bhp and put down about 540whp if i remember correctly. its still not the fastest USDM WRX since people are running low 11's high 10's with built USDM engine now thats a true work of art

 

You need a parachute if you trap over 150 mph I believe.

 

 

This is not Easy Street's WRX. They simply picked up a new block from them after they blew theirs. I don't really know what going on under the hood, I'm under the impression that it is built from the USDM engine.

Plus, rally Subarus generally don't have front mounted intercoolers. If you whack the front end of the car you run the risk of punching a hole in the intercooler or a charge pipe, and when that happens you can say bye-bye to your boost. The Subaru WRC cars for example, have larger intercoolers mounted in the stock location and using the hood scoop.

A rally car also wouldn't have that huge of a turbo, and it would have an airbox.

 

Call me crazy but I think he was being sarcastic. He meant that car wasn't meant for drag racing, it was meant for rally.
