i spend about 75% of my day on the phone with customers ... currently i have one regular landline with 3 incoming lines on it for me and an IP line that has 3 incoming lines on that ... because of an acquisition we finally tied up this week my boss want's to add two more lines to my IP phone bringing my grand total of 8 lines that i have to manage daily. something tells me im going to go to about 95% of my day on the phone oh joy.

just for reference, an average day i will be on one line and can have 3 others ringing in, which will wind up going to VM and then by the time i can listen to those ... the phone is already ringing again :hs:

Pretty typical day for the end of the month.
My bills went out on Friday, so client bills go out tonight along with the Census.
Taxes are ostensibly done, thank God.. h:

Started reading up on the R107 and R129 SL-class roadsters recently.
I've always loved how they drive, but now I'm thinking about finding one for a DD... maybe.

From what I've experienced, both are from a time when Daimler built to a specification, rather than to a price.
If I go with a 107, I've got to take the time and expense to find a 1972 to 1975 450SL in worthy condition.
Talk about a needle in a haystack...

I dated a girl once and we were house sitting at her uncles. While messing with the in-house entertainment system I accidentally shut it off. Came up with an excuse that worked for the night, but I think it ultimately lead to my demise with her. So yeah, don't touch shit!

She broke up with you because you turned off the entertainment system? Turn it back on?

Not quite. It was one of those systems with digital control panels in various rooms. I was messing around with trying to get the sounds to work and tried resetting the system, but the amplifier wouldn't turn back on. So, when her uncle (who she was house sitting for) saw the system wasn't working right -- he started asking questions. We dated for a bit after that but it eventually fizzled out.

At least you didnt break the urn of a creamated grand-parent right before going on a first date. I was waiting in the living room downstairs for her to finish up getting ready. Started looking at a picture of her when she was younger that was on the mantle above the fireplace. Long story short, little brother runs in with dog that knocks into me, my hand with picture knocks into urn, urn to floor, ashes ka-poof, girl cries, and date never happened....sucks too cause she was so hot

so yeah, agree w Dweezle...dont touch shit haha
