some other random shiz... I dunno what I was thinking when I made this one.

 

1. Click on the Start button and select Run.
2. Type "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" in the text box and click OK. You will see a progress bar appear shortly as it deletes its files and it will then ask you to reboot. After the reboot the program will be gone.

 

If you have SP1.... you can just goto add/remove programs and uncheck it. I don't know if that RunDll32 shiz will work on SP1.

 

Rammstein rocks... Asche du asche has got to have one of the evilest sounds in it.

I have SP1. I'm going to reboot and see if the icon shows up.

As for the Windows Messenger icon, it's gone and I'm happy.

Now if only I could get that QuickTime icon to go away without uninstalling the program.
