Carrey had his moment but he is just not a very versatile actor at all. He reminds me of Robin Williams in his early years, once he got older and learned to mellow out his career took off but until then he was unmanageable and less than impressive.

this role was right up his alley. he would have pulled it off a LOT better then Depp did.
