I can't find that quote in the article you linked. I agree that on the face of it that quote would definitely indicate some serious issues with the law-making process, but I'd like to see it in it's original context before passing judgement.

UGH
they rewrote the article ... it was different this morning. but thats the direct quote out of it. the paragragh after referenced the fact that there isnt even a cost or way to pay for it yet and the paragragh prior referenced the order to cancel all committee meetings to make room for health care debate
This is just silly, what possible context could make this any less bad?
Then you are part of the problem.
Again, I was just wondering what the context was. And if you kept reading my posts, I said again that it really doesnt matter what context it was in, but I just kinda maybe was a little interested in something more than a sentence.
It is my right to choose not to vote on certain things...just as it is your right to assume that what I do is problematic. Would you care to humor me on why I am part of the problem?
voting shows you support someone, if you have two choices and they both suck why would you vote for either? voting for a lesser of two evils is still voting for an evil
In addition to that, I really just dont trust politicians. I dont know them well enough to know their intentions, I cant believe the information on them that i receive in commercials or news broadcasts and usually they may have a similar stance on one issue as i do...but a completely different one on another.
